Art Director – Role Overview

We’re looking for an experienced Art Director with the passion, leadership, and creative vision to take full ownership of our visual identity—from high-level narrative and conceptual direction all the way down to the final pixel in our games and ads.

In this role, you’ll lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team of talented 2D and 3D artists, animators, UI/UX designers, and marketing creatives. You’ll be responsible for defining a cohesive, high-quality art style and ensuring consistency across all touchpoints. You’ll act as the key bridge between business strategy and artistic execution—knowing when to push for perfection, and when to prioritize speed and impact.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key role in shaping our visual identity and creative direction:

• Defining and driving the artistic vision for our casual Solitaire games.
• Collaborating closely with Product, Monetization, and Tech-Art teams.
• Leading, inspiring, and mentoring a multidisciplinary art team.
• Driving innovation and experimentation, including smart use of AI tools.
• Help define our player personas and target audiences to ensure every visual choice connects with users.
• Influencing both creative direction and broader company strategy as part of the leadership team.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in game art design, with at least 2 years in a leadership role (e.g., Lead Artist, Senior UI/UX Designer).
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, composition, UX, and player engagement in casual games.
• A collaborative leader who can inspire and guide a team with a positive and proactive approach.
• A creative problem-solver with the ability to overcome artistic and technical challenges.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite & Figma (Unity experience is a plus).
• Deep understanding of game development pipelines, technical limitations, and optimization for mobile.
• Excellent concept art, illustration, and animation skills, with a keen eye for detail and consistency.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience in cross-functional collaboration.
